Call to Worship
Good morning, and welcome! Hear the Word of the Lord this morning, as it calls us to worship:

Praise the LORD!
I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart,
in the company of the upright, in the congregation.
Great are the works of the LORD,
studied by all who delight in them.

– Psalm 111:1-2

Come Thou Fount

Confession
We live in a world that’s broken and torn apart by the effects of sin. When we’re tired and worn down, God the Father invites us to go to him with our burdens knowing he will give us rest. Let’s go to him together now in silence. Bring him your burdens. None are too big for him.

SILENCE

Assurance of Grace
The greatest reminder that the Lord will give us rest from all heaviness is in remembering Jesus. Listen to Hebrews 12:

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted. In your struggle against sin you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.

– Hebrews 12:1-4

Passing of Peace
Just as Christ has brought us peace with the Father we now also have peace with one another. Please take a moment to greet those around you in peace.

O Praise the Name / Doxology

Benediction
As you depart today,
may the strength of God pilot you,
the power of God uphold you,
the wisdom of God guide you.
May the eye of God look before you,
the ear of God hear you,
the Word of God speak for you.
May the hand of God protect you,
the way of God lie before you,
the shield of God defend you,
the host of God save you.
May Christ shield you today.
Go in the knowledge that Christ is with you and walk in the Spirit.

Peace be with you!
And also with you!
