Important Family Message

Josh Miles / November 21, 2020

Dear Church Family,
Pastor Josh, here. I am writing to you today on behalf of the staff and elders to inform you of some very pertinent news:

A member of our church staff has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. They were tested on Thursday and received a positive result in 24hrs. We had our weekly staff meeting on Tuesday, prior to the staff member being aware that they were exposed. As of now, no other staff members are positive for COVID-19. However, given that the results of this staff member’s test were reported last night, we do not feel that enough time has passed to ascertain the infectious status of the exposed staff.

With the love of our brothers/sisters and neighbors in mind, we are continuing to make precautionary decisions to best display that love. And with that said, we will not hold in-person gatherings this Sunday (11/22) and gather together online instead at 9a via YouTube. A separate email will go out later with that service link, as well as family resources.

As for Redemption Communities and their weekly meetings, we will defer to the RC leaders to determine their frequency. If you have any questions, please contact your RC leader.

As for further decisions on in-person gatherings, we will communicate with you all once we have determined the status of the other staff members. We appreciate your prayers and your patience as we navigate this as leaders.
We love y’all, and we know that this is an uncertain and difficult time. And, we together affirm that you are not alone in this journey. Given the power of this virus, with you we appeal to Jesus Christ who said, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” (John 14:27).

Grace and peace to you.
