Summer Studies

Want to grow in your faith and step into community? Our Summer Studies will cover a variety of topics and all are designed to help you connect with Jesus and his followers here at Redemption Gateway.

**Registration is now CLOSED.

The following classes will all be on Mondays, June 6 – July 18 (we will skip Monday, July 4) at Redemption Gateway :

How to Pray: What does it mean to talk with God? This study will practically explore how our Father invites us to connect with him in prayer. (Skipping 6/27, 7/4, 7/18)

Making Sense of Mormonism: How do the teachings of the LDS church relate to the teachings of the Bible? What does it look like to follow Jesus after growing up in the Mormon church? How do we love our LDS neighbors? This study will explore the answers to these important questions. (Skipping 6/6, 6/13, 7/4)

Ephesians: Paul’s letter to the church in Ephesus speaks powerfully to our current reality. Join us for the study to find out how! (Skipping 7/4)

Motherhood: Being a mom comes with a long list of both blessings and difficulties and we are often tempted to do life alone, but the meaningful connection is crucial to our mental and spiritual health. This study draws on biblical truth and offers practical solutions for creating a true community. (Skipping 7/4)

Fatherhood: This study is filled with practical steps to help men raise children of consequence – young men and women who know what they believe, know who they are, and will stand up against the negative cultural trends of our day. (Skipping 7/4 + 7/11)

Book: Death of Ivan Illyich: Tolstoy’s classic novella brings us face to face with our own mortality as we contemplate the death of Ivan Illyich. Tolstoy offers a terrifying glimpse into the abyss of death and subversively calls the reader to examine themselves and consider their future suffering and eventual death. (Skipping 6/13, 7/4, 7/11)

Caring for Others: Good intentions don’t always produce good outcomes; this study will focus on how to show up for people in a way that is actually healing and helpful. (Skipping 7/4)
