Redemption Kids
What is Redemption Kids?
Redemption Kids is a safe and loving environment where kids will have a blast learning about God. We strive to make it a place where parents will feel comfortable leaving their children in our care. Children age 2 and up will participate in age appropriate and Bible-centered lessons, songs, crafts and activities designed to help them learn who God is and how they can relate to him.
First Time Guests
To ensure a smooth check-in on your first visit with us, arrive a few minutes early and go to our Connect desk in the lobby just inside the building entrance. One of our greeters will be happy to assist you in registering your family in our secure check-in program, answering any questions you might have, and directing you to your classroom.
Children with special needs
Redemption Kids cherishes each and every child that comes into our classrooms and desires to “equip them for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Our goal is for your child to learn biblical truths to the best of their abilities in a classroom with same-aged peers. A trained adult buddy will be assigned to work and play with them each week to ensure consistency and make them feel comfortable, allowing them to learn Scripture and participate in the activities at their individual ability level. We want you, as parents, to be able to have the freedom to worship and learn about God while your child is safely and uniquely cared for in our Redemption Kids classrooms. Children with disabilities need the love of Christ like everyone else. Through this ministry, we aim to provide hope, love, and a special place for all to worship.
Please let us know ahead of time if your family will be using this service. We’ll gather all necessary information and match your family with a buddy.
Volunteering
Redemption Kids is made possible by volunteers who want to provide intentional, loving care for the children from our communities. Our volunteers go through a thorough screening process, which includes an application, background check, an interview, and age-appropriate training.
If you would like to volunteer with Redemption Kids, or would like more information, please contact our Redemption Kids Director, Summer Wahlstrom.
